Greetings! I am the Director of Library Research & Instruction Services in the CMU Libraries, where my responsibilities include overseeing the library's research support and instructional activities and initiatives. Our department works hard to ensure that students and faculty who need information get what they need and are able to move on to the next step of their research.
Prior to arriving at CMU in 2007, I worked as the Head Librarian at North Hennepin Community College in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, as Director of Library Services at Southwestern Michigan College in Dowagiac, and as a Librarian/Cataloger at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
I earned my B.S. from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, my M.L.I.S. from Louisiana State University, and my Masters degree in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education at Michigan State University.
