Welcome to the Research Guide!

"Social welfare policy is anything a government chooses to do, or not to do, that affects the quality of life of its people" (DiNitto, p. 2, 2011). Since social policy research and practice are more complex than what we can imagine, identifying policies is part of the research process of social policy practice (SPP) and always challenging. Social work research literature is the best place to go for this assignment.

Research literature is defined as written reports from research studies. Journal articles are the most common source for research literature. Other sources include books, dissertations, and websites. This guide introduces you to library resources for SWK 250 class assignment. Just use the tabs above to start your research!
