Bio

Margaret Danowski is the Health Professions Librarian at Central Michigan University's Park Library.  Her subject areas include Athletic Training, Communication Sciences & Disorders, Health Professions, Health Sciences, Nursing, Nutrition & Dietetics, Physical Education and Sports, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant and Public Health.

Margaret earned her M.I.L.S. at The University of Michigan in 1990 and her B.A. in Classical Archaeology and Cultural Anthropology at The University of Michigan in 1985.  Prior to coming to Central Michigan University, she worked for 23 years as an Assistant Professor and IT/Reference Librarian at Madonna University in Livonia, MI.  Margaret was the Liaison to the College of Nursing and Health at Madonna University and worked closely with the nursing and hospice faculty.  She taught instruction sessions at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and collaborated with the nursing and hospice faculty on assignments, acquisitions and curriculum development.

Margaret also worked with the faculty and students in dietetics and nutrition, food science, emergency management, athletics, education and more.  She is very experienced in providing library instruction and research guidance.
