The Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) is required for admittance to medical, osteopathic and other medical/health programs. It assesses the examinee's problem solving, critical thinking, and writing skills, and knowledge of science concepts and principles prerequisite to the study of medicine. Final scores are reported in the areas of Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Verbal Reasoning, and Writing.
