As the Distance and MSA Librarian for the CMU Libraries, I specialize in providing research assistance to students enrolled in off-campus and online classes, with a focus on the Master of Science in Administration (MSA) program. I've been assisting MSA students with their research since 2006, and I'm committed to helping distance and online students search for and retrieve the information they need to be successful. Based at the Troy (MI) Center, I'm also the designated librarian for the Metro Detroit and Greater Michigan centers.
Prior to joining the CMU Libraries, I was a librarian at Cornell University, Loyola University Chicago, and the University of Texas at Austin. I have an M.A. in Learning, Design, and Technology from CMU; M.S. in Library and Information Science from the University of Texas at Austin; and a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I also have a Graduate Certificate in College Teaching from CMU.
Outside of the library, I'm a distance runner and No Meat Athlete; animal shelter and welfare volunteer; poll worker; and occasional reader.
