Finding Articles

There are many direct and indirect online resources relating to the study of Literature. This list of resources, while by no means exhaustive, provides a basic starting point for research on the multiple aspects of World Literature, including French Literature. It is important to remember that when searching for reviews of particular book titles, most of the databases listed will allow searching exclusively for book reviews.

The electronic version of the Bibliography dates back to 1925 and contains more than 2.2 million citations from more than 4,400 periodicals and 1,000 book publishers.

Biographical information and critical essays on novelists, poets, playwrights, short story writers, and others. Includes the contents of Children’s Literature Review (CLR), Contemporary Literary Criticism (CLC), Literature Criticism from 1400 to 1800 (LC), Nineteenth Century Literature Criticism (NCLC), and Twentieth Century Literary Criticism (TCLC).

We have this journal is in print from v. 2 (1977/78) to the present (call number DC33.9 .C66) on the third floor of the library.

We have online access to issues from 1948-2010 (issues 1 to 119). New issues are available in print (call number DC1 .Y3) on the third floor of the library.
