Before You Know It is a flash-card based audio-visual language learning system. In addition to French, this site also offers language learning programs for a host of other commonly- taught, and less commonly-taught languages, from Ukrainian to Tajiki!

Livemocha offers some free language learning content via an online community of language learners. This site requires you to create an account to access.

The Radio Lingua Network offers some free content, including downloadable audio lessons.

The Bibliothèque nationale de France’s collections are unique in the world: 14 million books and printed documents, manuscripts, prints, photographs, maps and plans, scores, coins, medals, sound documents, video and multimedia documents, scenery elements. All disciplines, whether intellectual, artistic or scientific, are represented in a comprehensive way. About 150,000 documents are added to the collections each year thanks to legal deposit, acquisitions and donations.
