Find Sources Online

You may find helpful articles, blog posts, websites, and more on your topic online. The trick to searching online is to make sure your information is coming from a trustworthy, reliable source. Some tips for searching online are:

  • Use similar keywords that you would use in a research database when searching online. Searching 'food insecurity and college students' will give you more focused results than searching 'food insecurity' online.
  • Look for news articles from regional or national news sources (Detroit News, Newsweek, Forbes, etc.) If you can't read the article without subscribing to the news site, try searching the article's title on the library website to read it for free!
