  • *Mendeley Data includes two types of desitories: Digital Commons Data vs. Mendeley Data. While Digital Commons Data is offered to researchers at subscribing institutions under their institutional (data) repository, Mendeley Data is the Elsevier open generalist data repository to create, share and access FAIR data globally provided free to journal authors and researchers who may not have access to institutional or domain-specific repositories.
  • *Zenodo a general-purpose open-access repository developed under the European OpenAIRE program and operated by CERN. It allows researchers to deposit research papers, data sets, research software, reports, and any other research related digital artfacts. Content may be uploaded free of charge by those without ready access to an organised data centre.
  • *Amazon Web Services Public Data Sets Hosts a variety of large public data sets, such as Landsat, census, and genomic data. Creating an account may be required, and charges may apply for computing time and data transfer. AWS Free Tier
     
  • *Open Science Framework (OSF) a free, open platform to support your research and enable collaboration.
     
  • *Vivli from the Centre for Global Clinical Research Data, Vivli is an independent, non-profit organization that has developed a global data-sharing and analytics platform.
