What is a grant?

A grant is a financial award that is given to an individual or organization for a specific purpose. Grants are awarded by governments, corporations, organizations, nonprofit and private foundations, and grantmaking public charities. .

Where can I find grants?

Grants programs can be broadly categorized as those awarded by the federal government and those awarded by non-federal government entities.

This guide intents to provide not only grant access information but also essential resource to support CMU curricular and users.
