CMU Library Liaison Librarian rogram

The liaison librarians provide the following services to support CMU researchers:

• Develop collections to support research.

• Offer Research Assistance
  • Identify resources for literature reviews, systematic reviews, meta analyses, patent searching, etc., track prolific authors and relevant primary publications, map emerging research frontiers, use citation management tools, and more. 

• Provide Data Services
  • Develop data collections for discovery of existing data and provide resources for data management planning, measuring data impact, data repositories for long-term preservation to satisfy patent or funding requirements, and secure your data’s value for future research.

• Support Scholarly Communication
  • Provide resources for writing proposals and applying for funding and grants;
  • Help authors to look for publishing venues and support scholarly publishing;
  • Assist researchers to measure research impact.
