What is the subject liaison program for?

The Subject Liaison Program is a partnership between CMU Libraries and academic departments to improve learning, teaching, and research.

Information literacy is closely related to critical thinking skills. The subject liaison librarians have collaborated with faculty in teaching students information literacy skills to develop their critical thinking for learning and creating knowledge domains.

Who are the subject liaison librarians?

The subject liaison librarians are librarians who are assigned to specific academic programs/departments to serve faculty's teaching, research, and student learning. Most liaison librarians are CMU faculty with advanced degrees and experience in relevant subjects with which they work. Find your liaison librarian here.
