Full-text access to journal articles, (operating on a 3-5 year delay for many titles), JSTOR titles include, "The Americas, Bulletin of Latin American Research," "Historia Mexicana," and "Revista Hispánica Moderna," among others.

Full-text access to a variety of journals, including "Hispania" and "La corónica: A Journal of Medieval Hispanic Languages, Literatures, and Cultures," among other titles.

Covers the history of the world (excluding the United States and Canada) from 1450 to the present, including world history, military history, women's history, history of education, and more. Indexes more than 2,300 academic historical journals in over 40 languages. Dates of coverage: items published from 1955 to present.
MLA International Bibliography (EBSCO) This link opens in a new window
The Modern Language Association (MLA) International Bibliography annually indexes over 66,000 books and articles published on modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. Indexed titles include "Impossibilia: Revista Internacional de Estudios Literarios," "L' Erudit Franco-Espagnol: An Electronic Journal of French and Hispanic Literatures," and more.

Here are some select periodicals on French language, literature, and culture. Some titles are only available online for (for CMU users) or in print, while others are available in both formats.

The Americas
The Americas has been one of the principal journals of Latin American history since its founding in 1944. It publishes articles and reviews in history and ethnohistory about all geographical regions of the Americas and their Iberian background.
