Paper Presentation Requirements and Guidelines

Paper presentations are an opportunity to report the results of completed research, describe research in progress, or present a position on a compelling problem or issue in one or more of the conference tracks. Presenters should highlight the problem, results, and conclusions while only briefly touching on their research methods.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Presentations should not exceed 55 minutes.

  • The use of Skype and other web conferencing tools is discouraged. Each session room will have Internet access; however, a connection robust enough for effective web conferencing cannot be guaranteed.

  • Written paper no less than five pages in length, excluding appendices. Paper is due by Dec. 6, 2013. Conference paper requirements are available at libguides.cmich.edu/dls2014/paper_requirements. Standards for writing papers can be found at libguides.cmich.edu/dls2014/paper_standards.
