Conference Begins
April 20, 2016
When we attend conferences, we take in a lot of useful information and good ideas. Sometimes there’s a particular topic you really want to learn more about, but with everything else going on you don’t have the time to focus on just one thing. Learning Forward sessions are an opportunity for you to engage in an in-depth discussion about a particular topic from the conference, which can help you increase your understanding and move closer to putting your ideas into action.
During the Learning Forward sessions you can talk with other attendees about ideas that stood out to you and discuss ways you can apply the ideas to your library. We invite you to connect with others in the distance library services community to establish a network of people you can touch base with after the conference to share progress and challenges and to keep motivated.
Each Learning Forward session will center around areas of interest relevant to the conference and be facilitated by conference presenters or members of the Conference Advisory Board. All Learning Forward sessions will be held on Friday, April 22, 11:00-12:00.
Ensure the ideas you’re excited about carry forward from the conference to your day-to-day work and plan to attend a Learning Forward session!
